The St. Mary’s Soil Conservation District will dispose of its 2012 Great Plains 12’ Turbo Till.  The equipment has been part of the district’s rental equipment program and has been leased out to area farmers.  The Turbo Till was last used in 2023 and will require repairs and maintenance to make it operable.  The sale of the Turbo Till will be based on the highest bid received that exceeds our minimum bid price of $15,000.00.  The equipment will be sold in “as-is” condition with no written or expressed guaranties or warranties.

An equipment showing will be held between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hayden’s Fair Farm, 24790 Hurry Road, Chaptico, MD 20621.  Sealed bids, using the attached bid form,  will be accepted at the St. Mary’s Soil Conservation District office until 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.  The district reserves the right to reject any or all bid offers that do not meet the equipment minimum or are missing information.  The highest bidder, that exceeds our posted minimum price, will be notified and may arrange for pick-up of the equipment upon receipt of payment.  Payment may be in the form of cash, check or credit card.   A credit card payment will be assessed a 3% surcharge.
