St. Mary’s SCD’s 2019 Coloring Contest Winners

This year we received a total of 182 amazing coloring contest entries.  All were spectacular and judging was difficult.  The coloring contest has three judging categories: K & 1st grade (Class A), 2nd & 3rd grade (Class B), and 4th & 5th grade (Class C).  The District Board of Supervisors provide awards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of these categories.  Each winner receives a congratulations letter, a ribbon, and a cash award.  The entries from the 1st place winners in each category are kept and judged at the Maryland Association of Soil Conservation District’s State Coloring Contest in August.  We are pleased to announce that St. Mary’s County had a state winner this year in Class B.  All of the winners in this years contest are listed below.  We congratulate all of them for their hard work and hope they participate again in the future.
